A TEENAGER reportedly caught a man committing a sex act near a Taunton school.

The incident was alleged to have happened at around 7pm near Blackbrook Primary School in Ashbourne Crescent yesterday.

The mother of the girl who stumbled across the man posted on Facebook: “My 17-year-old daughter was walking by Blackbrook school at 7pm tonight (March 15) and by the bush in full view was a white male, around 5ft 10in. with brown hair with his trousers down.

“I know there have been other reports.”

There have been other reports on social media on men committing similar acts in the same area.

Dozens of parents have been sharing the comment on Facebook urging people to be vigilant. One woman has said she will put up posters to warn people what has been happening.

One woman said: "I hope this is a high priority case given how many times this has happened and how close he is to the primary school."

Another added: "You don’t feel safe anywhere these days.

"I hope this man gets caught as I’ve seen this isn’t the first time?"

Police have confirmed a report has been made and urge people to call 101 if they see any suspicious behaviour.
