POLICE have lost track of 11 registered sex offenders in Avon and Somerset, it has been revealed this week.
Sky News undertook a nationwide investigation and found that police do not know the whereabouts of 485 registered sex offenders including rapists and paedophiles as on January 17.
Avon and Somerset Police said there were 11 registered sex offenders on its records whose whereabouts were unknown.
Two had been missing since 2010, one since 2011, one since 2012, two since 2013, two since 2014 and three since 2017.
