A WELLINGTON band has won a slot at a music exhibition.
Music Expo UK takes place at the Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet on September 22.
Wellington band Last One Home won the slow after performing at the Glastonbury FM songwriting final on June 2.
This competition win followed on from their 2017 successes in being finalists in the national Young Songwriters Song Academy Award competition and winning the Bridgwater Battle of the Bands. The band performed three songs from their EP written by frontman Tom Westlake including the original competition entry and their first single, Bring Down the Storm.
Tom said: "Winning the slot at Music Expo UK is fantastic for our band Last One Home and we really enjoyed playing in front of an enthusiastic crowd and the panel of judges. Music Expo UK is a music industry showcase and we are thrilled to be given the opportunity to play."
