MORE than 30 people teed off at Taunton Round Table's annual charity golf day in Vivary Park Golf Club, Taunton.
Nigel Gardner won a silver salver, bottle of wine and sleeve of balls for topping the competition, which attracted teams from across Somerset's business community.
He said: "Many thanks to Taunton Round Table for organising a great event, and to Vivary Golf Club for their marvellous hospitality.
"It was terrific to meet people, have some fun and raise some money for good causes around Taunton."
Table chairman Jamie Pollard said: "Yet again we were been blessed with excellent weather for the golf day.
"Thank you to all those who attended and of course to our sponsors who gave so generously."
Former MP turned broadcaster Michael Portillo is the guest speaker at Taunton Round Table's speaker night at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, Taunton, on Friday, November 16 - details are available from Alex Newey on 07399-463846.
