BRAVE staff from Mount Veterinary Hospital are set to take on a charity skydive after battling cancer.

Six people, five who work for Mount Vets, are taking to the skies in order to raise money for Force Cancer Charity.

Three of them have been undergoing treatment for breast cancer, including practice manager Robyn Brock.

During her illness she was supported by the charity.

She said: "Three people from Mount Vets including myself have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. We have all had surgery, been undergoing chemo, radio and hormone therapy. It's been a difficult year.

"Our bosses here at Mount Vets and our colleagues have all been incredibly supportive.

"I attended Force Cancer Charity at Exeter hospital to receive counselling, financial and emotional support throughout this traumatic time. They were amazing.

"I would like to give something back to the charity now that I am almost fully recovered. So we decided to do something different to raise money and booked to do a sky dive."

The group will be taking the plunge on July 7. To donate visit virginmoneygiving.com/Madjumpersofmount
