A GROUP of three children have been caught with a large bag of illegal drugs, sparking an impassioned plea from a police officer.
PCSO Simon Bramley, who is stationed in Wellington, took to social media after the cannabis was seized from 12 and 13 year olds.
He said: "PCSO Steve Hill has just seized this cannabis from three children aged 12 and 13 years old.
"The youths will be dealt with, but I feel the bigger issue is who is selling cannabis to children this age?
"I hear all the time "I am not a grass". But what is worse selling cannabis to children or protecting those selling cannabis to children?
"If you have any information as to who is selling drugs to children in Wellington please call 101 or contact crimestoppers here."
