CHILDREN at a primary school decided to dive into the pool to help support an initiative set up in memory of a former pupil whose death three years ago remains a mystery.
Gary Edwards died suddenly during a trip to Poland with friends in July 2015 just weeks before he was due to get married.
Gary, from Taunton, who worked as a scheduler at construction company Skanska, began to feel unwell after playing football with his brother, Rob, and 15 friends on the beach in Sopot before going to a meal.
He left early and was discovered dead in bed the following morning.

An inquest concluded the cause of death was unascertained, although his mother, Hilary, believes that Gary, a twin, had an undiagnosed heart condition called Brugada, which frequently has no symptoms.
Mrs Edwards has now become a representative for Cardiac Risk in the Young, fundraising and raising awareness of the charity and its work.
She is raising £8,500 to screen 14 to 35-year-olds in the Taunton area for Brugada in Gary's memory - she has so far collected £4,202.
She recently visited St George's Catholic Primary School, where Gary had been a pupil, to give a presentation, after which Class 5 children decided to do a sponsored swim in the school pool, raising £515.
Mrs Edwards said: "Every week at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed heart conditions."
