ENGLAND goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has nothing to fear from Archie Bee.

Archie Bee stood in goal for a penalty shoot out at the Wiveliscombe branch of RGB Building Supplies.

Customers and staff lined up to fire in shots against Archie, the company's mascot.

The penalty takers donated £1 for each effort to the Children's Hospice South West and other donations took the total raised to £389.73.

Successful spot kick takers were entered into a prize draw for a Sharp 49in LED TV.

Ed Livesey, branch manager at RGB Wiveliscombe, said: “The penalty shoot-out was great fun and, although Archie Bee’s performance wasn’t quite up to the standard of Jordan Pickford, he did save a fair few shots.

"We’d like to thank all our customers who took part for helping us to raise funds for Children’s Hospice South West.”

Children’s Hospice South West is RGB Building Supplies’ chosen charity and the builders merchant is organising a number of events to raise funds.

The hospice provides care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West.
