A HORSE has been helping police get a crime prevention message across.
An Avon and Somerset Police horse and its rider visited the Wellington patch yesterday (Thursday).
As well as carrying out its normal duties, the animal also passed on a summer tip on how to beat burglars.
It nudged an open window shut with its nose to demonstrate how to stop thieves getting in.
Thank you from @ASPWellyWivy to @ASPoliceHorses We enjoyed another visit from the police horses and their officers today.

They even gave us some Summer crime prevention advice. Keep windows closed to stop thieves getting in. pic.twitter.com/G0FvngKn4f
