CHARITY fundraisers walked four miles carrying a total of 20 litres of water to raise funds for clean water projects in Africa.
The members of Taunton Oxfam fundraising group lugged the bottles of water from Taunton Castle to Longrun Meadow and back on Sunday.
Walker Mike McGuffie said: "Every day in Africa, poor people on average have to walk the same distance to get the same amount of water, which is often not clean, while people in Taunton have clean, fresh water on tap.
"The £160 raised so far by the walk, will be used to support Oxfam projects, including developing clean water supplies for poor people."
