THE annual Cadet Inter Services Competition at Norton Manor Camp was run by the Sea Cadets this year.
Headed by Lt-Cmdr Paul Ridgway with the support of 20 Cadet Training Team the competition took the form of 12 different competitive tasks.
The home of 40 Commando, Norton Manor, provided the perfect location to take on the tasks including the climbing wall, minefield, observation, orienteering and first aid.
Cadets from Fox's Platoon Somerset Army Cadet Force The Rifles who meet at Bishop Fox's Community School in Taunton entered two teams competing against teams from all over Somerset.
Fox's platoon A team won the best Army Cadet Force team with the B team coming a close second The A Team also come second overall in the Inter Services competition for the combined teams competition The A Team were also overall winners for the Team ski stand and .22 Shooting stand, they came second in 5.56 Shooting Stand The B team also came second on the first aid stand and the paintballing stand.
