Depp rumours rife again

RUMOURS that Hollywood star Johnny Depp has bought a house near Taunton have been ignited again this week.

Back in March the County Gazette revealed that speculation over the Pirates of the Caribbean star buying a house in the area was rife.

This week a popular women's magazine reported that Depp had definitely bought a house in Somerset amid sightings of the star in the area.

The property in question is rumoured to be Timbercombe House at Broomfield on the Quantock Hills.

The country house was bought for over £2.5million, and work has been taking place at the property to build an indoor swimming pool and tennis courts.

Sue Honeyball, Depp's potential neighbour, of Manor Farm horse trekking centre at Broomfield, said though she didn't really know who he was she was sure he would make a good neighbour.

She said: "One of my trekkers saw him in the area once and she knows him better than I do!"
