A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after another man suffered stab wounds in Wiveliscombe yesterday (Saturday, January 1).
Jacob Davey, 31, of Langley Cross, in Langley Marsh, on the outskirts of the town, will appear at Taunton Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
As well as the attempted murder charge, Davey is also charged with possession of a knife in a public place.
It follows a New Year's Day incident at an address in Tuckers Meadow, Wiveliscombe, at around 6.15am.
A man in his 30s required hospital treatment for stab wounds sustained in the incident which are not life threatening.
Davey remains in police custody pending his appearance before magistrates.
