TAUNTON hairdresser Carolyn Edwards raised £250 for the haematology unit where she was treated for leukaemia by donating a day's takings.
Carolyn is holding another charity day on Monday, April 14, when she will give all her takings to help battle leukaemia.
Anyone can drop into the Jane Adams Salon, in Station Road, Taunton, between 10am and 4pm.
Carolyn has so far raised a total of £430 for from two sessions - the days on the second Monday of every month will support the Musgrove Leukaemic Group; the County Gazette-backed Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment to equip the new cancer unit at Taunton's Musgrove Park Hospital; the Anthony Nolan Trust; and the Exeter Leukaemic Fund at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital, where she received life-saving treatment.
