VILLAGERS in North Curry and Stoke St Gregory are doing their bit to combat the problems of climate change and peak oil.
The Save It! group in North Curry has joined with Stoke Green in Stoke St Gregory to raise people’s awareness of climate change and associated issues.
The former is looking at planting an area of trees beside the football and cricket pitches off White Street, while the latter has raised money for planting trees around the parish.
The new organisation is launching a number of action groups to target specific issues such as education, food and agriculture, housing and woodland.
