A 55-YEAR-OLD Milverton man has this afternoon been found guilty at Taunton Crown Court on 15 counts ranging from rape to indecent assault.

Father-of-three Martyn Coles, of Creedwell Orchard, was accused of 26 sexual offences against six young girls.

Judge Graham Hume Jones ordered the jury to return not guilty verdicts on two counts and the jury found Coles not guilty on another one.

AOne of the guilty verdicts was on a 10-2 majority, while all the others were unanimous.

The jury is still considering its verdicts on the other six charges and will reconvene tomorrow morning.
