Christmas appeal for UK troops in Afghanistan

THE Co-operative Funeralcare, in Priorswood Road, Taunton, is a collection point for Christmas boxes for our troops in Afghanistan.

People can drop off shoeboxes with presents such as non-perishable food, toiletries and recreational items like playing cards, puzzle books or small games by November 29.

The parcels will be passed to Support Our Soldiers charity, who will donate 50p to the British Limbless ex-Servicemen’s Association for each parcel.
