FIREFIGHTERS were called to a garage blaze in North Curry yesterday afternoon.
Fire crews found the building well alight after being called by the residents of Lawnmoor Farm at 3.27pm.
The fire - which also involved petrol and a small quantity of asbestos - was quickly under control.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the cause of the fire was due to sparks from a grinder catching a pile of leaves alight which resulted in the garage being completely destroyed by fire and smoke.
