EVERY time I drove past the new SCAT building I kept getting a strong feeling of dj vu. Suddenly it came to me.
Thirty years ago my son took two shoe boxes, an empty squeezy washing up bottle, and some corrugated paper to school and made a model just like the new building in Wellington Road.
Funny thing though, he didn't become an architect because his teacher thought his model was crude and lacked style.
How times change!
