CHILDREN from Sampford Arundel Primary School spent an exciting day with Harold the Healthy Eating Giraffe last week.
Harold is one of the main attractions on the Somerset County Gazette-backed Life Education Centre.
And the mobile classroom proved to be a veritable Aladdin's Cave for the youngsters, packed full of high-tech visual and tactile resources covering a whole host of health issues.
The children learned about their bodies and how to keep healthy, initially looking at topics such as healthy eating and exercising.
And the school's older children tackled more difficult issues such as smoking, drinking and drug abuse.
