IT'S been a busy few months for junior tennis players at Taunton Tennis Centre, with successes for many local children in local and county competitions.
Among the many events held recently players have been involved in the Mini Tennis Red County Finals, The Taunton Deane Primary Schools Challenge, the free Play Tennis Open Day and most recently a half term camp for girls in the under 11 Development Squads.
The Taunton Deane Primary Schools Competition was once again dominated by Trinity Primary School, although there was strong competition from Trull, Bishops Henderson, St Georges and North Town.
Throughout the summer players at Under 11 and Under 14 age groups are competing in Mini Tennis Green and normal ball doubles tournaments in a series which ends in the Grand Finals in September.
Taunton now trains many of the County's top junior players.
