WHAT organisers promoted as a tasteful' evening at a Taunton club turned into a shocking lesbian sex show, according to clubgoers.
To the disgust of some visitors to The Wharf in Bridge Street on Satur-day night, two women undressed each other, and began kissing, touching and simulating sex in a dedicated shower room, watched by a jeering crowd.
Advertised as a show featuring women dancing in bikinis, the County Gazette has been given a video shot on a mobile phone clearly showing the full sexual content of the night.
A number of visitors to club, aged in their early 20s, said they watched in shock as the girls carried out oral sex acts a claim denied by the management.
One watcher, who asked not to be named, said: "It was full-on girl on girl action. There was no simulation they were going for it.
"The girls were walking around with a pot saying: The more you put in the more we do.'"
“It was full-on girl on girl action. There was no simulation – they were going for it."

Another male punter said: "It was just like a free porn show unacceptable for a place like Taunton."
And a female student commented: "We were quite shocked. It certainly wasn't tasteful from a girl's point of view."
Club manager Martin Barrington stood by his view that the night was tasteful the term he used when the County Gazette reported on its proposed launch.
He told us this week: "There's no proof the DVD you've been given was taken in here.
"We're not doing anything different than what goes on in a lot of other places.
"We've made it a fun place for customers to come to and I've had no complaints from anyone.
"It might have looked like the girls took part in oral sex, but they didn't."
There are now plans to operate the shower room every Friday and Saturday night, and men and women will be able to put their names forward to dance in it and strip.
Mr Barrington added: "The club holds up to 800 people spread across two floors. We feel we try to cater for everybody.
"At the end of the day people have a choice to go where they want and see what they like.
"Times have moved on and we're just trying to keep up with what other places are doing."
Under new licensing laws which came into practice last November, nudity and the simulation of sex is permitted under the entertainment licence held by the club.
-The Rev Rod Cork of St Mary Magdalene Church in Taunton, said that the church disagreed with such activities.
He added:" Christians believe that sex is right and good within the marriage bond and displays like this we would deem offensive."
