FOR the second week running, Taunton held on for a losing draw with nine wickets down in the WEPL Premier One, on this occasion away to Weston-super-Mare.
The hosts chose to bat first and posted 210-9 from their 55 overs with Ed Brown (55) top scoring.
For Taunton, Henry Carpenter picked up 3-27 from 11 overs.
Taunton looked well on course after reaching 144-2 as the in-form Jack Cooper shared stands of 43 with Marcus Harris (24) and 70 with Chris Gange (23).
However, wickets then started to fall with Cooper fifth out for a fine 71.
Taunton were eventually left nine wickets down – although last man Ben Orr did not have to face a ball – as they closed 13 runs short of victory at 198-9.
