STUDENTS at Dulverton Middle School quizzed West Somerset MP Ian Liddell-Grainger about his role in Parliament.
On a visit to the school, their council asked the MP whether he has met the Queen and if he always wanted to be an MP.
They also told the MP about the charities they support.
The Year 8 Exmoor junior rangers gave Mr Liddell-Granger a tour of the school and explained its unique Exmoor curriculum.
The MP also met staff to discuss their opinions on workforce reforms before being briefed by the Chair of Governors on the progress of the Exmoor Federation.
After having lunch at the school’s new kitchen, he invited the students to visit him in the House of Commons.
