A GROUP of youngsters – including three boys from Court Fields Community School in Wellington – wave for the camera as they take part in the annual Tall Ships race.

Fifteen-year-olds Ben White, Marcus Enyoisi and Callum Coppin, spent six days sailing from Antwerp in Belgium to Aalborg in Denmark.

The trio not only enjoyed the thrill of the open sea and the challenge of massive waves but also managed to come fourth in their class.

That was despite sailing one of the oldest and smallest boats in the race.

Ben said: “It was a fantastic experience.”
