DUNSTER Castle has been giving tourism students a hands-on experience as tour guides.
Holly McDowell is one of a group of ten students studying for a First Diploma in Travel and Tourism at Somerset College, Taunton, who received training at the National Trust property.
The 17-year-old from Wiveliscombe led guided tours round Dunster Castle.
The group of students took on a variety of roles at the castle, including showing visitors round the Castle and explaining its history.
Carole Beach, travel and tourism lecturer at Somerset College said: “It was wonderful experience to work at Dunster Castle.
“The students learnt a great deal from the National Trust and really enjoyed helping visitors.”
