FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing gear broke into a house in Weavers Reach, Wellington last night after neighbours reported a smoke alarm going off.
They found the building full of smoke after a saucepan had been left unattended on the hob.
The house was damaged by smoke but there are no reports of any casualties.
