New appeal for missing Watchet man

THE possible sighting of a missing Watchet man has led police to renew their appeal for public help today.

Gerald McGonnell, 53, was last seen in the Swain Street area in September last year.

Police are renewing their appeal after a recent possible sighting in the town.

They are concerned for his welfare, as he was known to be depressed at the time he went missing.

Police have reported making extensive checks in areas he is known to have frequented in the past and they believe he may have been in Bridgwater or the surrounding area.

Anyone spotting Mr McGonnell is asked to ring 0845-4567000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 -55111.
