Curry Mallet Primary School pupil completes sponsored swim
A TAUNTON pupil has completed a sponsored swim to raise money for a children's playgroup.
Charlotte Gatrick, from Curry Mallet Primary School, completed raised £400 for Isle Abbotts playgroup.
Her mother Anne Gatrick, assistant supervisor at the playgroup, said: “I was very impressed, she did it all off her own back.”
The nine-year-old swam 64 lengths, a total of one mile, to raise the money for the charity-run playgroup.
