STUDENTS at Court Fields Community School have broken all again this year with another set of impressive GCSE results.
Around 75% of the school’s 164 GCSE students achieved five A* to C grades or equivalent - an 8% increase on last year’s results. Almost half of the Year group received five or more A* to C grades, including English and Maths, which shows a slight rise from last year. 37% of students achieved at least one A* or A grade and 94% achieved at least one higher grade of A* to C, along with 89% achieving at least one GCSE ranging from A* to G.
Students who took Biology, Chemistry and Physics did particularly well, with 100% of them passing and 64% achieving A* or A grades.
Other subjects which did particularly well were English, Drama, Science, DT Graphics, Business Studies and ICT. Elaine Faull, Headteacher at Court Fields, said she was delighted with this year’s results, not only from the Year 11s, but also for the number of students who took GCSEs early.
