A WITNESS has told how he heard a "massive explosion" followed by a burst of flames.
The man, who asked not to be named, rushed out of the bar at Taunton Rugby Club, where he was enjoying a drink after the fireworks display.
He said: "The fireworks had been finished for about 15 minutes and there was an announcement over the microphone saying there was an incident on the motorway.
"I heard a massive explosion from inside and a lot of us went outside.
"You could see the flames and the fire.
"You could see lots of flashing blue lights.
"Everybody was shocked when they realised what had happened and people were trying to climb up the bank to see what had happened.
"The police asked the rugby club to put the floodlights on and were searching the area with dogs."
