Proposals for Battle of Waterloo re-enactment in Wellington

PROPOSALS for a re-enactment of the Battle of Waterloo in Wellington have been put forward to take place in 2015.

The commemoration of the 200th anniversary of the battle was discussed by Wellington Town Council this week.

The battle took place on June 18, 1815, with Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington the main protagonists.

Bloody hell, get with it SCG......this "event" can be witnessed on Wellington High Street most Friday and Saturday evenings!
