TAUNTON Deane MP Jeremy Browne has opened a secret garden at Norton Fitzwarren Primary School.
He said: “It’s made from willow and is a great asset to the school.
“I’m sure the pupils will gain a lot of enjoyment from using it.
“Once it has grown it will be even more will more spectacular.
“Norton Fitzwarren Primary School is currently getting used to the new arrangement of sharing a head teacher with neighbouring Staplegrove Primary School.
“I was pleased to learn of its exciting new plans for the future.
“Norton Fitzwarren School currently has spare capacity. However with all the new housing developments I am sure the school will be in more demand.
“So new investment in the school, including having such an unusual and fun garden for all pupils to enjoy, is great news.”
