CREWS were called to a blaze in Williton just before 1pm this afternoon.

One fire engine from Williton and one from Minehead attended a fire at a building in Half Acre before requesting assistance from another engine from Nether Stowey.

The first floor was heavily smoke logged.

Firefighters used ladders, breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
