Stone crusher catches fire at Wellington quarry

A LARGE stone crushing machine caught fire at a quarry in Wellington.
The incident happened just after 5.30pm this evening (June 20) at the White Ball Quarry, off Gipsy Lane.
Two fire crews attended the scene and used breathing apparatus to help put out the blaze, which destroyed half the machine.
