HUNDREDS of mums and dads visited NCT Taunton's fourth Pregnancy and Baby Fair to find support and information about what’s available during pregnancy and the first few years with young children.

The event was sponsored by Venetia Norrington of Firetop Photography.

Exhibitors ranged from cloth nappies to sewing classes, from advice on car seat safety to baby clothes and gifts for sale.

Taster sessions and talks included family first aid and signing with your baby.

In the Dads' Group corner, the children were treated to a range of toys and activities while Dads were given the chance to spend some quality time with their children and meet other local fathers.

In the pampering corner, mums indulged in various mini treatments including massages, manicures and makeovers.

Tabis Witherick, branch chair, said: “We were delighted to welcome hundreds of new and expectant parents and raised well over £1,000 for NCT to help its work supporting parents.

“I am very proud of the NCT Taunton volunteer team for making the fair such a success.”

The series of books "Fifty shades of grey" will no doubt be responsible for a baby boom in under a year's time!
