A SUMMER fete to raise funds for a drop-in support service for bereaved parents in Taunton takes place this weekend.

The event, at the Lawrence Kellett playing fields in Dowlish Wake, near Ilminster , is in aid of the Rosie Crane Trust, which runs a drop-in session in Taunton.

The fete runs from 10am to 4pm and among the attractions will be a flying display of birds of prey and a unique opportunity to get close to the magnificent birds.

Other events planned for the day will be a table top sale, craft stalls, skittles, play your cards right, ferret racing, refreshment stalls, licensed bar and much more.

Local group Seatrees will be playing an acoustic session during the afternoon.

Admission is £5 for adults and free for children accompanied by adults. No dogs, however, are allowed at the event.

For more information or to book a stall - please contact Carol Crane on 01460-55120.
