STUDENTS at Foxes Academy, all of whom have learning disabilities, have celebrated their successes in style at a graduation award ceremony.
Festivities began with a fun-filled performance of Shrek, throughout which the audience laughed as the youngsters entertained them.
Former learners at the academy George Wannell and Minnie Black gave talks at the event at the Crazy Horse in Butlin’s about what they achieved while studying and since leaving.
This year’s top award went to Greg Vincent, with Lorni Gill coming second and Hannah Tolley and Naomi Isaac in joint third.
Special awards went to Andrew Scourse for his work in Moving-On; to Samantha Tomkins for her achievement in NVQ; Daniel Plowman for cooking; Chloe Jackson for best newcomer and Zena Rose for drama.
After the awards ceremony, everyone enjoyed a lively evening with High School Musical tribute band, Nightfly disco and a caricaturist.
The highlight of the celebration buffet was the Graduation 2012 cake which the learners baked and decorated themselves.
