The West Somerset Railway Association Steam Fayre and Vintage Vehicle Rally at Norton Fitzwarren which was due to be held today (August 5) has been cancelled.

The event was organised by the West Somerset Railway Association and was set to showcase a glittering array of vintage cars, motorcycles, fire engines and military vehicles.

The fayre proved a hit with people yesterday but after heavy rain, organisers were left with no option but to cancel today’s proceedings.

Another outdoor event spoiled by the rubbish weather - organisers won't bother next year as the weather will be just as bad, we will be stuck with nothing to go to!
