Have you been affected by the midges and mosquito mayhem?
IT'S not a case of what goes bump in the night these days but more like what goes buzz.
Hundreds of thousands of midges and mosquitoes have been making theirselves a nuisance around our county.
Have the little blighters been a nightmare for you? Or have you had to put mosquito nets up to avoid being bitten?

Make sure to wash daily they are not attracted to the smell of soap, use a herbal based natural soap with lavender or other nice herbs they are not attracted to this
When bitten wash the bite immediatly with soap this will clean out the stinging agent the mosquito puts in you.
After being bitten a few times they will become less attracted to you, this is really no joke. When you stay in the Jungle you will have much more to deal with this little old somerset. Donate a bit to nature and they will leave you alone.
There is little to worry about like dinghy fever etc in the UK so don't panic, just wash the sting and don't rub it. Clove oil is good, so is any menthol based rub or after bite cream, just do not itch because it will take much longer to heal.
The mosquito bite will actually stimulate nerves and cell regeneration thus increasing circulation so it is not really a bad thing just annoying, Mosquitos are important for pond life and reptiles that eat from them, killing them will send a signal out to the swarm so it is not a good idea. Just like killing a wasp or bee.
It is not true that they are a parasitic animal that is not in the ecosystem, Bill Gate's genetically modified ones have caused huge problems to Africas ecosystem where they where deployed and to pond life - don't believe this nonsense, just give em a bit of respect an let em be.
