MEET the new Taunton Carnival Princess.
Heathfield School pupil Emily Adams, of Ruishton, will represent the town at this year’s Carnival procession on Saturday, October 20.
Emily was selected by a panel of judges including Taunton Deane Mayor and mayoress Terry and Ann Hall after final interviews this week.
The runners-up were Mia Slaney and Morgan De Save, who will join the Mayor on his Carnival Grandstand for the grand parade.
Last year’s Princess, Bethany Giles, was on hand at the Albemarle Centre to pass the tiara over to Emily and tell stories from her reign.
Carnival chairman Marilyn House said: “We’re delighted to welcome Emily as Carnival Princess.”
