TWO elderly ladies were cut out of a car after it overturned near Fivehead last night (October 9).

Emergency services were called out to Cathanger Woods on the A378 shortly before 10pm and confirmed the vehicle was on its side in a roadside hedge.

A police spokesman said there are no further investigations and that the road was re-opened around midnight.

Both casualties suffered minor injuries.
