Flat fire in Crescent Way
AROUND 100 people were evacuated from their homes after a fire broke out at a large block of flats in Crescent Way, Taunton.
The alarm was raised just before midnight yesterday (October 18) with reports of smoke coming from a third-floor flat within a six-storey block.
Nobody was injured in the fire and police are treating it as suspicious.
Anybody with information should call police on 101.
