JEREMY Browne enjoyed a glass of the white stuff when he dropped in at Cheddon Fitzpaine Primary School to promote National School Milk Day.

The Taunton Deane MP also found out how the school is promoting healthy eating to the pupils.

He said: “It was great to see the measures that the school, like other primary schools across Taunton Deane, are putting in place to promote healthy eating and an active lifestyle.

“Milk is part of having a balanced diet, and teaching children at a young age about the value of eating a healthy diet is very important.

“Evidence shows the earlier children know about what foods are good the more likely this will last into adulthood.”
