Taunton Hard of Hearing Club
TAUNTON Hard of Hearing Club met on January 19 at the Tangier Scout and Guide Centre.
Most unfortunately, for the entire duration of the meeting, the fire alarm rang loudly, despite the efforts of an electrician to repair it.
The meeting was a social meeting with activities planned. Some had to be abandoned because of the noise, but others, such as trying to guess the identity of children in photographs, puzzle cards and a card game called Hoy were possible.
The next meeting will be on February 16 when the Reverent Snell will continue to show his fascinating slides of India - unfortunately cut short last May. Visitors are welcome, hearing impaired or not.
