POLICE have made door-to-door inquires after a spate of vandalism saw tyres slashed on vehicles in three Bridgwater streets.
Vehicles parked in Ashgrove Way, Eldergrove Close and Oakgrove Way were targeted between 9pm on Thursday and 6am on Friday morning.
PCSO 8791, Daniella Castagna, said: “Almost all the cars in these roads have had all four tyres slashed.
"We have delivered letters door-to-door in the Bower estate area asking anyone affected to get in touch, if they haven’t already, so that we have a clear picture of these offences.
“We’re obviously appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
"We’re checking CCTV in the area but if anyone does have private CCTV I’d ask them to contact us.”
PCSO Castagna added: “We’re taking this incident very seriously – it has affected a large number of people who have been prevented from going about their daily business."
Anyone with information regarding the vandalism should contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
