THESE unique pieces were among items stolen during a theft from a Taunton property.

The silverware was taken along with a handbag during a theft from a property in Corfe on March 30, police said.

Somerset County Gazette:

"Intruders entered the property and took a handbag and various items of family silver," said a police spokesman.

"The silver is all marked with the family crest (shown on the ring pictured below).

"We are urging antique and second-hand shops to be vigilant and look out for the items.

Somerset County Gazette:

"We are also interested in hearing from the driver of a white Ford Transit tipper van, which is thought to have been in the area at the time - between noon and 2pm.

"It is reported to have had signwriting on it."
