THE annual Oake Manor Golf Club bursary for students of The Castle School, Taunton, has been presented to Jaydon Harper.
The presentation was made by club captain Nigel Jackson and club professional James Smallacombe. Two other year-long memberships were also given by the club to talented golfers Seb Hart and Paul Adams.
The bursary was initiated after the death of Castle School's bursar Andy Parker who left provision in his will for the award.
The club expanded the bursary to include extra awards to talented youngsters from the school.
Head teacher Kevin Freedman said: "The bursary has become a much-coveted prize."
