OVER 250 signatures have been collected in protest against a proposed housing development in Bishop's Hull.
Mark Formosa, the aspiring Conservative MP for Taunton Deane, has joined residents to gather signatures against the plans for thousands of houses.
He said: "Almost everyone I have spoken to in Bishop's Hull is against this proposal which would damage to character of the village.
"Taunton's green wedges, which make it such a unique county town are increasingly under threat. We only have to look at the proposal to build 8 000 houses between Comeytrowe and Trull to see how Taunton as we know it is under the threat of the bulldozer."
