THE way complaints against councillors are dealt with has changed.
Previously, anyone reporting a member of Taunton Deane Council or parish and town councillors in the area would go to the Standards Board for England.
Now people wanting to make a complaint about the conduct of a councillor must contact the Deane's assessment sub committee of the standards committee.

The committee can only deal with complaints about the behaviour of a councillor and will not deal with matters not covered by the Councillors' Code of Conduct.
Complaints should be sent to Chairman of the Assessment Sub Committee, The Standards Committee, Taunton Deane Council, The Deane House, Belvedere Road, Taunton TA1 1HE.
